This file contains letters exchanged between PM Bhargava and various scientists from August to September 1959 regarding organizing a meeting for experts in biochemistry in India before the Indian Science Congress held in Bombay. The scientists addressed in these letters include PS Sarma, V Jagannathan, DL Srinivasan among others. The letters discuss two venue options for the meeting - the estate of Mulk Raj Anand at Khandala or the Krishnagiri Upavan (a National Park) at Borivali.
