This file contains documents pertaining to financial assistance from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for foreign scientists who would be attending the inauguration of Jonaki, a new complex at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), as well as the symposium on 'Frontiers of Tomorrow in Biology'. Both of these events occurred almost concurrently in 1987. This funding is provided as part of a collaboration between the NIH and CSIR (CCMB). The letters in this file are arranged from Gray to Sarma. This file contains correspondence either addressed to or written by Paulette Gray, Special Review Committee, Grants Review, Extra Mural Activities Division of the NIH, AMA Razvi, Finance and Accounts Office of CCMB, and Padman S Sarma, Program Director of the RNA Studies at the NIH. The first letter in this file is addressed to Gray, and it contains a telegram as well as many annexures as enclosures that are retained as found. The letter from Razvi also has receipts and forms as enclosures. The original copy of the same telegram is also retained in this file.
