This file contains documents pertaining to the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB). This file has an 'Extract from the Proceedings of the 71st Meeting of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research's Governing Body, held on 29th June, 1976.' This extract contains a few annexures. This file includes a report on the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology's operation as a semi-autonomous body for more than two years so that its future could be determined. This file has a letter from the Administrative Officer, SP Kaushik, addressed to OP Khanna, the Chief (Administration) of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), about the administration of the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB). This file includes an 'Office Memorandum' detailing all the administrative adjustments that will occur after CCMB is established. This file also contains another letter addressed to the Administrative Officer in which infrastructure-related issues are raised, and it also contains an enclosure with all the construction-related specifications. The floor plan in this file is a photocopy; hence, it is retained along with the other records. Most of the documents in this file are photocopies.
